Kenmore - kenmore 500 series washe

Construction & Repair

Well, I purchased a new Kenmore washer in Nov 09. Here in Jan10 (NOT even two months) it is broke. They are telling me to wait a week for the repairman. They need to realize how many customers they are losing due to service repairmen.

I own nothing but sears appliances. However, I will never purchase anymore sears appliances. I now see the bad side of sears.

Seems like even the most reputable companies, such as Sears and Roebuck, is failing us the American consumers. Seems like everyone is trying to sell us bad stuff and then not honor the warranties.

Sure they have offered me a 25 dollar gift certificate! Is there small print with that? I will see. 25 dollars is not a drop in the bucket as to what the time and travel to wash clothes will cost me the working mom!

Oh well, if we web users continue to blog and make sure we read reviews before we purchase then we will make a way for this to not be done to us. We must rely on reviews. If we the American consumers rely on reviews then they the seller will also. You have a phone with the internet more than likely. What if before we purchased anything over 100 dollars we surfed the web to look at reviews. If we all done it then the seller would be forced to read these and do what WE want. We have the money they need to continue. We are America! Stand up for what you believe in.
