Cantor Development, Signature Place Scam?

I am writing to inform you of a situation regarding adownpayment for a real estate purchase that I made in the State of Florida.in January I placed a deposit on an "F" Unit at Signature Place, a pre-construction condominium developed by CantorDevelopment/Gulf Atlantic Communities in St.
Petersburg, FL. I was promised a world-class condominiumdesigned and built by the top firms in the industry. Unfortunately, what I was promised wascompletely different from what was delivered and after repeated attempts tohave my deposit returned, due to the material changes made during construction, I had to resort to filing a lawsuit against the developer, Gulf AtlanticCommunities. It is my understanding thatthe lead lender on the project, Fifth Third Bank of Cincinnati, Ohiois calling the shots and is not returning ANY deposits. During the construction process there were numerous materialchanges made to the construction of, not only my individual condominium, butalso the building overall. The changesmade to my unit include: a missing hallway closet that was featured in theoriginal design, completely redesigned kitchen with a significant reduction incountertop and cabinet space, wider columns in the living room taking up morefloor space and impeding views and a patio that is 10% smaller and represents asafety hazard due to the final construction design.in addition to these problems in my specificunit, the building common areas (common rooms, pool area, etc.) are 30% smallerthan originally promised. I believe thatthese substantial changes to the original design represent material differencescompared to what I was promised and I had asked the developer and Fifth Thirdbank for a refund of my deposit per the terms of my agreement. I also have a signed document stating that Ican get my deposit back at ANY time for any reason. I was still unable to get my deposit backfrom the bank or the developer and it is my understanding that they are tryingto make people like me go through extensive litigation and to outspend theaverage consumer like me. After monthsof trying to resolve this issue amicably, I have had to resort to filing alawsuit to attempt to obtain my original deposit. I would appreciate any assistance in helping to resolvethis matter with Signature Place and getting my deposit returned since this is not what I waspromised or bargained for.
