In April we purchased a complete living room setting from Rooms to Go.in less than 4 months the material was pelting and most of the padding on the arms was gone. The sofa's back is actually over 2" shorter on one side (measures under 7" to over 9" from one end to the other).

We called the store about the material wearing so fast and they told us they would send out a "service technician" in 2 weeks to check it out. He arrived. Looked at the furniture. Then left. No words. We waited for them to call but after a week I called and was told that there was nothing they could do because the furniture was covered in excessive sand and that was what was wearing the material smooth. I told them there was no sand on the furniture and the problem wasn't the material being "smooth" but pelting. I also wanted to know how sand could cause the height difference. The reply was "well, I'll have another technician come out in 2 weeks".

I waited for this one to show up and when he did the furniture was examined and he said he would write up his report. He also said that he wouldn't want furniture that wasn't holding up either. When I called about the results of this report I was told that the loveseat needed a cleaning and that "the cushions met their standards". They did'nt even address the fact of the difference in back height or the padding falling.

I am still fighting over this with them but they just don't seem to care. They have a contract for the furniture and as far as they are concerned the furniture can be firewood or trashed but we still owe for it. Please be aware that this company is a big time ripoff business. Think twice before making a purchase from them.
