Dangerous furniture to go!

We bought furniture in September from Rooms to Go in at the University Shoppes in Charlotte, NC. When we were in the store the sales agent had made the claim that our furniture would be put together for us when it was delivered. She specifically stated "not to let the delivery men tell you they don't do that" we agreed and waited for our furniture to be delivered. When it finally came, the delivery people down right refused to do it, we called the store and asked to speak to our sales agent. The agent checked our order and said oh well "that" particular piece of furniture wasn't included - - though she made NO mention of this when we bought it. So, Ok - - it was a few end tables no big deal. Then we get our furniture set up, and a month later the chair we'd bought breaks the spring board falls right out of the bottom of it and sends the sitter right down to the floor. So we call Rooms to Go customer care and they send out a technician to look at it. The technician looks us in the eye and says "Oh this was defective, the spring board wasn't fastened correctly during manufacturing - - this happens all the time". Naturally we were shocked! If Rooms to Go knew this happened all the time why are they still selling this furniture?!? So, of course we started to question the other pieces we've bought from them - - it could be dangerous to anyone who sat down in it! So we go to the store to speak to the manager about a refund, and they tell us all they can do is offer an exchange. We don't want an exchange, this furniture is obviously poorly made. We want all of our furniture refunded to us and it taken off our account!
