Ripoff duplicitous no returned calls evasive flat out lied several times

Hired company for an LA to Austin, TX move. Sales rep told me it would take about a week, give or take a couple days.

After eight days and no delivery, called company. Dispatch manager (GARY) told me the Labor Day Holiday had slowed process up but the stuff was on its way. He told me he would contact me with an exact location as to the whereabouts of my belongings. This never happened.

Another seven days passed and nothing. Called again requesting the location of my belongings — GARY told me he would have to look into it and try to find out where the truck was.

Another week passes (3 weeks after pick-up) — I called several times and could not get a returned phone call or any explanation as to where and why...

Gary reminds me, that in the written contract, they have up to 45 days to deliver my goods. This was never disclosed by the sales rep or the movers who had me sign the paper work.

Finally, after threatening legal action, the company manager tells me that my belongings are still sitting in a wherehouse in Los Angeles.

They never left!

These people lied to me on multiple occasions, failed to disclose the truth upon enlisting their services, and then spent three weeks not returning calls and refusing to disclose the fact that my things had never even left.

Now, I cannot even get them to tell me when they might possibly leave.

Anyone, in their right mind, would never hire a moving company that took 45 days for a simple 2-day delivery trip. And the lies are the worst part.

This company is the most unprofessional outfit I have ever dealt with. They are liars, rip-off artists, and cowardly.
