All States Landscaping
Allstates Landscape Poor craftsmanship, doesn't back up warranties, horrible customer service. Watch Out!

I hired All States to put in my landscaping for my new home. I paid them over $40,000 to landscape, fence, sprinkler systems, etc which was in line with other companies that I had bid.

The problem I had with All States was the quality of their work and them backing up their service. The main issue I had was the installation of my fence. They installed a fence around my yard and after 8 months a good portion of it was falling over. The servicemen they sent out had no idea what they were doing. My soil was hard so they decided it would be easier to not put them in very deep into the ground. I ended up having 6" below my fence when the posts were put in! I asked them about it after they started and they said it makes it easier to trim the weeds because my trimmer can go below. Are you serious?! After arguing with them they attempted to make them deeper as I left town (big mistake). I came back from holiday and they were cemented in and about an extra inch down at best. I ended up having to put in extra dirt to build up the ground after they refused to fix the problem.

Secondly one third of the fence was falling over! We have high winds in my area and the fence started falling over. The retaining wall they put up started to fall down and dirt was falling between the bricks they placed. After talking to other companies, they said they should have put in clay or a fabric behind the bricks so the dirt wouldn't wash away. So now I have a falling down retaining wall and a fence that is falling over. Let me also mention the slats for the rest of the fence were cut short so whenever wind picks up my fence blows over and my dogs get out.

All States will NOT remedy the workmanship. They guaranteed the fence for life from workmanship and when I file a repair requests, they say it's an act of god. Give me a break!!!

Don't hire these scam artists for anything. It takes a lot for me to complain and spend the time to write this so I hope this helps someone from making a wrong choice.
