Improper repair charges

I purchased a sony high def. Television

On 12/27/06. With that purchase i paid for a certificate of coverage for $249.99. This included a 5yr. Coverage.
The only time the tv needed service was this year 2009. I was charged $5.93 by this company, qualxserv. I gave them my certificate number, 9686079 from the Sony company, but was told that they would not send out a repairman unless i paid the cost up front with a credit card or a debit card. I did as i was told because i wanted the tv repaired.
The repairman who came to my residence on 2/26 saw the certificate and said that i should not have been charged due having purchased this certificate of coverage. I call the company to ask for my refund as of this date i have not received one. Please help me resolve this matter. The money was taken from my debit on the day that the appointment was paid, i would like for my acct to be credited with this same amt. Thanks.
