Clean N' Dry
Did not clean carpet, stained returned in 2 days, cheat! Twice didn't show for scheduled redo

On April 10th, we had Clean N' Dry come out to give us an estimate on cleaning 2 rooms in our house. We had a coupon for $49.95 for a 3 room cleaning. Yosef came out and explained to my husband that we needed more than the basic cleaning and it would cost $473.95 for his estimated 245 feet of carpet! (Carpet Basic Process $49.95, Carpet Shampooing $120, Carpet Pre-conditioning $249, Carpet Protector Dupont Teflon $39, and Carpet Sanitizer Anti Microbal $16) When my husband said that was too much, he said okay I will give it all to you for $120. So my husband okayed the job.

We stayed off the carpet for 6 hours even thought they said it would be dry in 1-2 hours which it wasn't. Two days later I noticed that the stains had come through and the carpet looked worse than before they came. On April 21st, I called them back and explained to the operator what happened. She took a message and said the tech would call us back.

Yosef called me back and I explained what happened. He then said, How much did you pay? I said $120 so he said to call the operator back and schedule a redo. So I did and it was scheduled for May 1st between 2-6pm. So the night before I made arrangements for the furniture to be moved and childcare for my 3 kids so they wouldn't be in the way. At 1pm I checked my answering machine and there was a message from them saying they couldn't come out today and to call them.

I called them and the operator said there were no other jobs in my area so they wouldn't have a tech to do the job. I explained all I had to do to get the room ready and she said there was nothing she could do. She then said I could have someone come out on Sunday or Tuesday. I asked her if there would 100% be someone here on Tuesday even if there were no other jobs in the area. She said yes, guaranteed!

Well today (Tuesday, May 5th) at 3pm I called them to find out their status. The operator said she had to reach the tech. I called back 20 minutes later and still no answer from tech. Another 20 minutes later I called her again and she said she had to see if a tech was coming out. I said not if but when today. I explained the promise the operator made on Friday and she still said if. She called back a few minutes later and said no one was coming out today. When I pushed her on why, she stumbled a few times then said the tech's child was sick. I asked why I wasn't called this morning and why I had to call them and she said (stumbling again) he just got sick at 3pm. I told her I wanted to talk to the manager and she said she would leave him a message. I asked for his name and she hesitated and then said Ben. I said I wanted a call today and she said no, he won't call until tomorrow.

When my husband got home at 4:30 he called to say that I felt I was getting the runaround and she said sorry but no one could come today. He asked for their mailing address and she said we don't give it out and then hung up on him. Very rude!

I should have known something was fishy when our check was cashed within 30 minutes of them leaving. They went straight to the back and cashed it at the teller. Also I feel they are not coming out since they already got their money. Terrible business, wish I would have known before I used them.
