Tarzana Store Isiah And Robbie, LIED To Us, Corporate Office Never Replies Same Day, NO Service, Bad Quality - Dangerous Gas Leak Sold To Us Barbeques Galore, Inc. LIED to us, NO service, Bad Quality - Dangerous gas leak sold to us

We were ripped off by the Tarzana, Ca. Barbeques Galore branch. We purchased over $900.00 from them. We called them 5 times to help us out and I even wrote their main office and received no reply. They continued to promise me a replacement fire pit as the one they delivered was leaking gas and the knob was stripped. Their own delivery person noted these issues and we wrote the problems on the delivery slip.

We called the Tarzana store (where we bought the items from) on the Monday after the delivery and they promised a call back in 2 days. NO ONE called after 2 days, therefore we called again and spoke to our sales man Isiah. He told us to try the leaking unit again and let him know. We did and he assured us an exchange via delivery as we paid for delivery for the defective unit. Isiah promised a call back on Monday the 3/30/09 and he never called us.

After we waited 2 weeks! When we called yesterday (3/31/09) he was out. We even called them again yesterday on 3/31/09, just to give them one more chance to resolve the problems and spoke to Robbie. He confirms that Isiah was out. When we asked why didn't Isiah return our call when he was in Monday AS PROMISED he couldn't answer and he couldn't help us. We explained that its been 2 weeks and we have a unit leaking gas and a stripped knob and that their own delivery person noted the problems. All he could say was he would investigate and call us back that same day. He NEVER called us back... He lied... Just like Isiah did. I figured you all should know before going there.

BUYER BEWARE OF THIS STORE! I sent corporate another email (yesterday morning) giving them until 5pm today. Corporate never even replied yesterday, with at least something like... We are looking into this etc etc. I will let you know what happens.

I will be contacting the Attorney Generals office tomorrow amongst other agencies if I do not hear from them today.
