Liars! Ripped me off and kept my holding deposit for over a month!

I called to find out information regarding their South Point property in Costa Mesa. After being harassed by their Leasing Agent I agreed to go apply for an apartment.

I informed them of my credit situation and told them that I had already paid a lot of money in application fees elsewhere so I did not want to apply if they were not going to be able to approve me.

At that time I showed them a copy of my credit report that I already had pulled the same day. After looking it over they agreed to only charge me for one credit check fee.

If and when I got approved and moved in I agreed to pay the other $35 as my husband and I were both applying. They looked at the report and assured me that we would be approved. If for some reason we were not then they would expedite the return of our holding deposit and not charge us the additional $35.

Not only were we not approved but they held my holding deposit for over a month and guess what when I got it, it was missing $35. I called to tell them the situation and Jessica Andrews the account rep. Pretty much told me it doesn't matter what they promised me they would not return my money.

$35 dollars is not a lot of money and I am not put out by losing it. I am upset though when stupid @*& holes lie to me in order to rip me off.
