Watch Out for On line Ordering

I found an online offer for an Aerogrow planter for my mother. It was just before Christmas and the ad offered express shipping. I found the planter I wanted and proceeded to checkout. The order was placed December 22 and I have not heard from them until today with an automated email saying they will respond in about a week. I have been on hold with customer service for more than an hour twice and each time only to be hung up on before I get a chance to speak. They took the money out of my account but have not sent the item. Their online order info only says the credit card was processed but nothing more. I am very disappointed because their product is very good. Their customer support and order promises are not representative of their products. If anyone else has had this problem, please alert the public of the scam offer and false promises made by this company. I found out after the fact they had laid off a third of their employees before Christmas which should have alerted me to a problem. I will have to put my cc in dipute and work with others on a class action as necessary - didn't they know they where hurting people when they couldn't deliver around Christmas? I think they decided to help out their finances they would take the money and worry about delivery later if at all. How can such poor management represent such a wonderful product. Thanks for letting me vent on this ripoff situation.
