Salon Express
Scam!

On December 13, I had called Salon Express to order their nail products for my daughter for a Christmas present. The commercial showed how the designs would show up on the nails, and since my daughter does her nails at home rather than go to the nail salon, I thought this product would be the perfect gift for her. I placed the order with Salon Express, and the woman on the other line told me that the order was $60.95 (six times the normal price). The price was because of ordering two bottles of their nail polish to use with the nail design, some extra nail design discs, and the express shipping price. I was told that in order to receive the order before Christmas, I had to sign up for express shipping. I had called Salon Express on December 22, asking them when I was to receive the shipment. I was advised that the product had been shipped on December 21. On December 24, I called Salon Express again and they said that they would refund my express shipping price since I still did not receive the product. I did not receive the product until December 29. I called Salon Express to say that I was extremely upset that I received it so late, but I finally did receive it. My daughter tried the product on January 14, and found that it does not work. The commercials show the product to be so simple and when trying it in person, it is nothing like the commercial. She tried several designs, and all were the same way - they came out in a blob, and some didn't even come out. I looked at my packing slip and found out that I cannot receive the shipping price back and I might not even be able to receive a refund on the product since the packing slip said that I had until January 13 to return the product, even though the slip said that I was entitled to a 30 day trial. The Salon Express is a SCAM! Please avoid their products!
