Canceled account in october, being billed for charges from may

I am beyond enraged!!! This company has caused more harm than the good that it says it can!!!

I started with this company in february. At that time a fee of $79.00 was drawn from my account. Okay, fine, almost a month later, i still hadn't recieved my welcoming kit, so i called them and they said that they would send it out.in the process i was billed an additional $120.00. Time passed and i forgot about the whole ordeal, until july when my account showed a charge of $99.00,

When i called them to let them know that i still hadn't received my welcoming kit, the lady offered my extra vouchers and told me that i could go ahead and place an order. While trying to place an order i was given the impression that i would have to give up more funds for shipping. I decided not to order and wait again, on the welcoming package, which i didn't recieve until the end of october after calling the company again!!!

While on the phone with the rep, he said that since i was out of my 30 day period, i couldn't recieve a full refund, but only a refund on the $120.00 that was paid. After arguing with the rep and being transferred to a supervisor, she extended the 30 day period and send out the package, once i recieved the welcoming kit, it was well into the end of october, i called to get a refund number. When the rep sent me to a supervisor i was told that i couldn't get a refund at all!!!

I argued with the supervisor for a while before i told them that i would have my lawyer to contact them. Then he gave me the refund number and i sent my package back and received a refund at the beginning of november. Now!!! Here in december i went to the bank to check my balance and deposit a check when i found out that on november 14 lpc sent a paper check to my bank for $24.00 which was returned twice because there were no funds available at that time. My bank charges $35.00 each time.

The slick part about this company is that when they try one check twice and it doesn't work, they'll issue a second check and try it twice until you have funds available for them to draw out. I just got off of the phone with a manager at lpc, and he said that the charges were because i didn't pay the full annual membership before i canceled my account!!! Please do not be fooled by these hooligans, they have found a way to get over and they are taking advantage of thousands of people all the time!!! Please help bring this company down!!!

I'm a single mother of four and i was going to use the account to get bedroom furniture for myself and my kids, but i was sent on a wild goose chase and ended up spending money on something that neither myself, nor my family has benefitted from.
