There Are More Filter arrived with a piece missing: Dec & Associates refuses to return my $ or send another pond filte

This report is going to be very similar to usacomplaints.com written by the person from Concord, NC on 9/15, who ordered a pond pump system from Power Plus Pumps, rec'd it damaged & can't get the owner of the business to respond, send a pump or get $ back. It turns out to be the same company that I bought a pond filter from; they operate 'very unprofessionally' from eleven web addresses.

May 23 - We ordered a pond filter from Best Pond Filters (a.com company), one of eleven web sites owned by David Dec.

Finally on July 15 we rec'd the filter (via FedEx ground). It was missing the valve, we denied delivery, the package was returned to David Dec.

It is now November 10 -We have been battling every since to get him to either file a claim, sign a waiver so we can file a claim, send another filter OR send our $ back.

It is unbelieveable that someone can use such unethical business tactics and get away with it!

At one point he said that WE were trying to run a fraudulent claim through FedEx. He then accused us of keeping the package overnight & removing the valve before we sent it back. He has tried to get us to send more money and he'll send 'part' of the filter. Then he said he'd file the claim and send a filter AFTER he recieved the money from FedEX. He wants our money, FedEx's money and the pond filter?

He already has our money and his filter. It has been 6 months; Beisdes numerous other agencies, I have turned him into the BBB in Denver, only to find he has been turned in by others for the same practices.

How is it legal to do business like this? He obviously has done this before to others and is being allowed to do it again.

We have had several 'sucessful and uneventful' business dealings over the internet. This is by far the worst business transaction we have ever made!!
