I needed an inline water filer assembly replaced because it was leaking slightly from the top valve. I called Rodenhiser plumbing to do the work. The estimate for the work was over 600
dollars. My wife thought the estimate was high and called me. I spoke with the technician and wanted to know why a $60 part was going to cost over $600 dollars to replace. I told the technician not to do the job and went and got the part myself. The new filter assembly was 60 dollars and it took me about an hour to install. Rodenhiser Plumbing saw an advantage to take an unsuspecting person and take advantage of them. They are guilty of unfair work practices and I hope anyone in the Massachussets area who gives them a call will realize that they are not a reputable buisness.
