Carl, Owner Bait & Switch, Rude, Discourteous, Overcharge, Malicious Tampering

This is a lawn and snow equipment seller and repair company. They have repaired my riding mower for 3 years in a row. They charge a high price and charge to pick up and deliver as well.

This year, the owner, Carl was not here when I dropped off the machine. It had gas in the carburator and needed to be repaired. The man who took it in said that I would get a call in 2-3 days to communicate how much money it would cost and how long it would be before I had my machine back.

10 days later - no call.

I called them on Day #11 and spoke to Carl, the owner. He stated: (1) the machine needed a new carberator and it would cost less than 200, (2) I received no call because they were busy! (3) It was my responsibility to ask the man how big was the backlog (70 machines to work on) and not the other way around! (4) the machine took 3 1/2 weeks to repair (it is summertime and I had no machine!) (5) the cost was $275; more than what the owner said, and (6) the transmission was abused to the point where the machine will not stay in gear. First time there is any problem with this and nothing remotely problematic before this repair.

Poorly run, a rip off and destructive!
