Ripped off

I have TotalProtect for my appliances. When my central air went out the said that only pay 1000.00 on it. Yet they say they will repair or replace. It cost me 5041.00. I am waiting on my money. They they will pay a total of 15000.00 annually, if I replaced all of my covered appliances they would not pay that much in a year, if they only pay a certain amount on each. When I called in on my dishwasher they will pay 1000.00 to replace it. This not what they tell you in the beginning. I asked how they could justify that.
