Home Warranty Service does not pay claims!

TotalProtect Home Warranty will do everything in their power to not pay a claim. I was extremely dissatisfied with this company. Unfortunately, it was after they refused to pay my claim, that I looked online and found many, MANY similar complaints. My AC stopped working and TotalProtect claimed that it was a pre-existing condition and therefore not covered. Oddly, when I spoke to the AC technician about this, he said that there was no way you could tell for sure that it was pre-existing and that he thought it was not.

In other words, they are claiming that I cannot say 100% for sure that it was not pre-existing so they can claim it is not covered. This seems to be a loophole that they could claim for many different situations. Companies like this do not make money by paying claims. They make money by getting out of them. The fact that my AC technician was telling me a different story than the warranty company tells me that they are sneaky and will find any tiny loophole in the contract to get out of giving you money. If you search online you will find MANY dissatisfied customers. DO NOT USE TotalProtect! It is a 100% rippoff!
