I had frank corsaro of ace italian american drywall come out to my house and give me an estimate to drywall my dining room and up my stairway and a small hallway. I gave him a deposit of 550.00 to start the job. He started the following day and worked for about 3 hours. His workers came back a day later and worked for about 2 hours after the first day. He kept on calling me day by day to tell me he was sick and couldnt come until the next day. This went on for about 5 days straight. Finally he came back and asked for another 500.00 dollars and gave me the excuse that he had to pay his workers and he needed money because he didnt work all week. I gave him the money because my house was a mess and i needed it to get done because i have two little children running around. After taking the money, he was supposed to come back the next day and he called me 4 hours late to tell me he woke up late and couldnt come until the next day. Frank and his son came the next day and asked me for more money and i told him no because he wasnt even a quarter of the way through the job. So him and his son left my house and the following day he took all of his tools with him. I am into this job for about 1050.00 dollars and i had to hire two other contractors to fix all of frank corsaros mistakes and finish the job. I ended up with a job that was supposed to cost me 1453.00 dollars and ended up spending 2200.00 to finish the job up. Also i found out that he has priors for theft of services and his workers stole stuff out of my house. Being in the law enforcement profession, to find all this out about someone who you thought you could trust to come into your house and fix it up. It was mindblowing and very upsetting.in all, the job that was supposed to take 4 days ended up taking 5 weeks and an extra 1000.00 dollars to fix up all the mistakes.
