VERY Expensive Rent - Not Getting What You Pay For - High Employee Turnover! Do not move here!

My rent is $1,350.00 a month plus utilities. It is supposed to be a completely remodeled apartment. I would call it many things, remodeled is not one of them. Do not even think about renting a place here.

I moved to this apartment from another state. On move in day we noticed many problems with the apartment - the most concerning was water damage and the smell of mold. I promptly reported it to the management office. The apartment was bad enough that I could not move it. I was forced to take my child and go stay with my parents who fortunately have a large home. This was a horrible situation on many levels. One being that I enrolled my son in a school near the apartment that I was supposed to be living in and staying at my parents meant a 40-50 minute drive to my sons school.

Employee turn over at this property is huge. That in itself speaks volumes. It tells you that the company treats its employees so badly that they don't stay around long. You can just about guess what that means in how you the tenant will be treated by such a company.

Also, everytime that you have someone that knows your situation - poof they are gone and you are starting over. Due in part to the turnover I was left without an apartment and staying at my parents for two months. YES TWO MONTHS is the time frame it took these people to resolve my fould apartment situation. During that time my clothes and furniture sat in that apartment absorbing the horrible smell.

They have now moved me into another apartment. I have three college girls living above me. It is an endless party. Not only does the noise keep us from enjoying our apartment it also keeps us from sleep. My son frequently goes to school tired because he has been awakened over and over during the night while he is trying to sleep.

The only problems with the girls "parties" is not just the noise. They vomit over the banister which ends up in front of my door. They also vomit on my terrace, as well as toss beer cans, drink glasses and cigarettes, etc.

After calling the police a couple times and complaining to the office I woke up one morning after a big party night upstairs to find my car keyed from front to back. Three-thousand-dollars worth of damage.

The office is rude to us for complaining. I have sent a letter to their corporate office, attention Scott Sladeck, asking to let me out of my lease and waive a month rent for me to use for moving expenses, which is about two-thousand-dollars. Mr. Sladeck did not answer my letter. The office manager sent me a nasty letter saying that I will pay my rent and need to be out by the end of the month if I want to leave.

The police get called here so often not just by me but by other tenants due to other loud neighbors that they don't always have the manpower to respond.

The party girls are not the only problem I am having with my apartment. There are many othes. That problem makes life so miserable that the other ones seem minor in comparison. I have not had a working dryer almost the entire time that I have lived here. If I dont' have vomit and party garbage at my front door, I can always count on having big mounds of dog crap just feet from my door. Nothing like a good morning wake up when you walk out your door to the smell of dog crap and/or vomit.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! There are plenty of other places that you can move to that are nice, quiet and have management that does care about its tenants and problems.

We are in the process of finding other victims of this company to sue together as a group, if you are one of those people we would like to hear from you. We are also creating a website with pictures, video and audio. We want to save as many people as we can from living in such deplorable conditions.
