Wow! This place is awful!

This is the worst place I have ever lived!!! From the moment we moved in we had to call the office everyday to have maintenence come to our apartment.

On the day of our move in the cleaning crew showed up to clean our apartments from the previous tenants who had lived there. Two days later the floor men showed up to replace the floors from the previous tenants. Our front door had obviously been damaged severely at one point and they never came to repair it so I had to repair my own front door, before the repair you could easily slide a full magazine between the frame and the door.

The Diswasher flooded our living room while we were unpacking and saturated numerous pictures and boxes. We had a squirel die in our wall and the apartment staff could never remove it but did leave us with a large hole in the wall which took months to repair while trying to "investigate".

After the squirel had festered and left the smell of death for about 2 weeks our apartment filled with about 300-400 large flies, evidentally from the maggots being born on the dead squirel.

Our apartment never goes below 80 degrees even at night after the air has been running all day. Our last electric bill was 420 dollars and this months is 440. Also someone has siphoned gas from our truck outside.

All of this has happened since March 4th of 2008 it is August 06. We are leaving the apartments by breaking our lease but the apartments still want us to pay our monthly rent until they find tenants and an 85% sublet fee.

My advice to anyone renting in Grapevine, TX, stay away from this place. Too much money for too many problems.in MY OPINION THESE APARTMENTS ARE GARBAGE!!!
