Delivery Ripoff, No Guarantees! Internet internet

I ordered a product from this furniture company and they sent it to the wrong address. I called to check on it and was told since I 'ordered it online' they couldnt be held accountable. Their computer records indicate it was sent to and signed for at a fictional address. Fedex has an entirely different address that is completely unlike mine. B/c this is a furniture company, this is an expensive product ($350) and I am now out both the desk and the money. Customer service said they were completely unable to help me, and that is frankly the first time i have EVER had an internet-based company unwilling to back up their product delivery in this manner. Basically, the desk was left on some random front porch and I'm now held accountable.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone take a risk like this with this company. You have no control about where they might send it despite having your correct address on file and you will be charged even if the error is theirs.
