Incorrect site preparation information

In August I purchased a Cal Spa at the Erie County Fair from Majestic Pools and Spas. The sales rep who I bought my spa from had been flown in from CA to work the fair and worked for a sales rep named Larry Jerome. Being completly unfamilar with what was needed to prep the site, I had the salesman write down instructions which indicated to clear the area of the sod and but down at least 4" of pea stone. Three weeks before the spa was due to be deliverd the site was ready as instructed.

When I got the call the spa was ready, the delivery personnel stated the spa could not be set on pea stone. They said I had been miss instructed and the spa had to be set on concert or patio block if it was going to sit on the ground. At the last minute I had to contract someone to take out two ton of pea stone and set the patio block.

I imediatly contactly Majestic Pools to voice my discontentment about the added expense of the stone removal, block materials and labor costs to correct the site. I was told by the co manager that the manager Tim Bunch who managed the fair show would call me back on the problem. After several attemps to reach him and was told my message was left, I gave up on getting any satisfaction from Majestic Pools and Spa.

I would never recommend the Majestic Pools and Spas dealer to anyone. Once my sale was completed they did not want to bother with me. A futher warranty relationship looks grim. I can only hope the spa I purchased does not turn out to be a leamon.
