PCC Pools and Spas abandond the construction of our pool after they went 16 weeks over the contract date stated in the contract.

They were not happy with the amount of money they ripped us off for, they actually intimidated my husband and I to give them a check for $3,200.00 to go purchase our pool equipment and said the they promise to finish our pool the following week; only to find out that the store where they were supposed to purchase the equipment from never sold them the equipment in the first place. They gave us a bogus receipt with Kenny Peardon's (owner) signature on it that said "paid in full". We never saw them or the equipment again.

It will cost us $11,000 more to complete our pool. A few weeks later after sending two demand letters that came back "no such address" they sent us a letter that they had filed bankrupsy. The return address of that letter was the bogus address that they listed on the contract state license site.

They asked for 25% for start of excavation, and 35 % for steel and gunite.By then they had 60 % of our money. We felt we had no choice but to continue doing bussiness with them and hoped and prayed that they would finish our pool.

Our worsed nightmear came true when we realized that they had abondond the job and took the money for the pool equpment. And now we have to fork out another 11,000 to complete the pool. This money will come from our small emergency fund. It has sent me and my husband through so much.

We both retired last year and have not been able to really enjoy our retirment because of this.
