My husband and i had property given to us by my grandmother. We contacted the local jwh and began the process. Everything was great in the beginning. The salespeople knew everything about what was going on.

We closed over a month ago and it has been nothing but a nightmare since. Every time we call to check on something there is a different story. We we never told about serveral things such as lines being tapped, electrical run to the site, plumbing lines and electrical lines ran to the house. Nothing was ever said until after we had closed and we were stuck.

We chose to have the house completed at 90% because we were told that we had a $4,200. Completion allowance that we could use towards any improvements to the house, such as flooring, driveway, fencing, etc. Our salesperson (krissy) told us that we just call them and that they would cut a check to whomever we needed to purchase materials from and that it was that easy.

Well not so —called yesterday to do that and were told that we did not have a completion allowance and that our loan was now maxed out and the manager didn't know why the salesperson told us that and that she was on vacation. We asked for her bose's phone number and amazingly he is on vacation too!!!

These are just a few things that we have run into and they haven't even started our house yet. I do not and will not ever recommend this company.
