Poor customer service, fails to deliver as promised Ripoff

I ordered sod on April 5 and it was supposed to be delivered the morning of April 7. Didn't show up. I looked at my on-line bank statement, and a hold was placed by Walker's. I tried calling Walker's, and no one answered.

I contacted James from grass4sale on Monday the 9th, and he said it was too wet to cut the grass, and it would be delivered on the 10th or the 11th. It wasn't delivered on the 10th, and again I contacted James on the 11th, and he said there was another rain delay, and it would be delivered on the 12th or 13th. I contacted James on the 12th to confirm delivery, and he said it would be delivered the 13th.

On the afternoon of the 13th I contacted James, and he said it would be delivered on the 14th. I asked if I could just cancel, and he said no as it was already cut. I told him I would be doing a chargeback on my credit card, and he said "good luck" as they would just send the credit card company a copy of the terms and conditions, and get their money.

Not once have I received a call or e-mail telling me there were going to be delays. I have attempted to contact Walker's by phone several times, and they never answer the phone. I have now taken two days off from work, and rented equipment, only to be stood up every time.

My first piece of advice is don't use grass4sale or Walker's Landscaping. If you fore go that advice, then I recommend when ever you communicate with James, do it via the on-line chat application, and do screen captures of what he tells you. This will come in handy when you do a chargeback on your credit card.
