Grass4Sale - Walker Landscape
The old "bait & switch"

I attempted to order 2 palets of grass on 6-18 to be delivered on 6-22. The location finder was Austin with a delivery charge of $60. The next day around 1:30pm, they called to say that the grass couldn't be sent out of Austin that it had to come from San Antonio and the delivery charge would ge HIGHER.

They said they would call me back within an hour to give me the new delivery charge. I waited until 2:45pm and never called back. I then found grass at a closer location so I began calling to cancel my order. I finally got through to them about 4:55pm on 6-19. I was told by James that I couldn't cancel my order because it had been processed. I says in their ad that the grass is cut and shipped the same day. I asked him why when I had called 4 days in advance couldn't I cancel? I explained that I had been called and told that the grass was going to cost more and that no one ever called me back and that I had found grass somewhere else. He said that I should have CALLED them back and that he would match the price and ship the grass for the original price that was originally quoted. If I wanted to cancel there would be a 30% cancellation fee! (not in their ad). So we agreed to accept the grass for the original price even though it was coming from San Antonio not Austin.

The next day I checked by bank account and found that they had charged me the day I placed the order.

On Friday, 6-22 at 1:00pm, the grass had not shown up so we called them. James told us that they COULD NOT deliver the grass for the original price and that the price would be $300 more! So THEY cancelled the order and didn't even call us. I checked my bank account while I had them on the phone and the pending charge was gone.

We then drove 50 miles to get grass. On Tuesday 6-26, I was checking my bank account and there was a charge from Walker Landscaping for the original price! We have called numerous times, but their line is ALWAYS busy.

No where in their website does the name Walker Landscaping appear!

This is a complete rip off company and I hope this experience will stop others from falling into the same trap we fell into.
