Dream Fraud, RIP OFF, took payment and disappeared

David Ringo Avalos DBA Dream Resurfacing agreed to complete work on my propery. I paid by in advance and never saw him again. I checked with the city and found Dream Resurfacing/David Avalos is not registered to do business in my town. I informed Mr. Avalos by phone and two certified letters that I was required by code to hire a properly credentialed individual or business.
Mr. Avalos refused to return my advance payment and attempted to bill me a second time for work that has already been completed and paid in full, in an effort to avoid returning my advance payment. I attempted to negotiate with Mr. Avalos and he threatened me with legal action. What type of action Im not sure since he was the one ripping me off. He also threatened me with physical harm and damage to my property. This is all documented.

A search of public records shows this individual/business as having multiple lawsuits and judgements throught Texas. I went through the BBB, state, county and various law enforcement agencies, the media, lawyers, etc etc and of course they all did nothing. They have no office and operate out of a house. Dont be fooled by their slick website. This business is a classic contractor scam. On paper they own nothing and nobody can ever collect a dime from these criminals. God bless Texas.
