I purchased a home from g. Alderson with bass realty acting as her broker. She did not disclose the mold covering the walls and ceiling in the basement hidden by paneling, and even put air fresheners inside the paneling and in the hvac so potential buyers would not smell the mold.

She also claimed she had not lived at the residence at any time prior to the selling of the home, but the neighbors state otherwise. She also knew of the flooding of the basement because of the statements she made to the previous buyers.

Her husband, jack alderson, purchases homes and puts a fresh coat of paint on them and sells them for far more than they are worth. The purchase contract was contingent upon clear letters of mold/fungus/wet or dry rot and satisfactory home inspection. They breached the contract by not meeting the contingencies, and its no wonder. They would have never had a clear letter.

My first home inspection revealed some electrical problems, but i had a second one performed with glaring differences. (james haas of paris, tn claims to be a home inspector, though he is not liscenced nor is he a minimally decent home inspector.)

Do not purchase a home from these persons unless you look behind the paneling and have liscenced inspectors provide clear letters or you will be taken to the bank.

It is going to cost me anywhere from 15,000-20,000.00 to fix all the problems with the home. I will be filing a civil suit against g. Alderson and bass realty, for breach of contract and damages. I wish i could sue for fraud and nondisclosure of material defects, but civil cases do not allow to sue for either. C-ya in court, JACK AND GERALDINE AND GWEN!
