Ripoff overcharging improper diagnosis

I had this come out to diagnose an Air Conditioner problem. They told me I needed a new air handler and the cheapest one they could provide would be $4,700. I called another company to ask what they would charge to replace the air handler. They only looked at the outside of the unit and told me they could install a new one for $1,800. What a difference in price! The big suprise is when the new company dug in, they determined it only needed a small part and did not even need the entire unit to be replaced.in the end, my bill was $350. I saved $4,200 (93%) by getting a second opinion.
