Will not return phone calls about damaged merchandise Ripoff

Today is August 25. Purchased a new leather reclining loveseat from Ashley Furniture on July 25. When I picked up the sofa, they asked me to sign off on the condition of the sofa as being good without me inspecting the sofa. I wanted to inspect the sofa but was told that if they uncrated and unwrapped the sofa, they would not recrate it and rewrap it. Because my truck was not covered, I agreed because they also told me that if I found anything wrong with it after getting it home, just call their customer service department and they would send a technician to my home the next day. After getting the sofa home and uncrating and unwrapping it, we found that the leather is torn and there is an obvious stretch in the leather. We were very careful when we unloaded the sofa even to the extent of taking the door down before bringing the sofa inside. I have called their customer service department 6 times and left messages but they will not return my calls. I logged on to their webpage and left a message there but have received no response.
