Durablend blended leather 2 piece sectional sofa

When our sofa was over a year old it started peeling on one cushion.
We went to the Chattanooga Ashley Furniture Home store and spoke with the store manager. He asked us to email a photo with the serial number to him. He advised it was out of warranty but would see what he could do. He said if the manufacturer would not take care of it he could send a technician to repair it. We told him the product was defective and the salesman had told us this product was actually more durable than leather. We emailed the photo and information. We made numerous phone calls to the
store and were never able to speak with the manager, leaving messages requesting a call
back with none of our calls returned. We really could not believe the poor service. Now
the sofa is peeling in several places, one area is 16 inches long. We are covering it with a
throw. The sofa is is 2 years old now. I have never purchased such poor quality furniture.
After googling this problem I see that this is a common problem with this product. It is not
just 1 defective sofa. We will not make the mistake of buying furniture from Ashley Furniture again. The serial number is: S391134639
