Water coming in on all floors and the run around patching method

My wife and I decided to have our dream house built by the Groupe Ecotherme and its owner Guy Rioux. However, a couple of months after we moved in, a rain storm occured and we noticed water seeping through the bedroom ceiling.

We contacted Mr Guy Rioux, who reassured us that it would be fixed soon. He sent someone to look at it and he did whatever and changed our ceiling. Well guess what? Winter comes along and another windy rainstorm and bang, water seeping through the ceilings on every floor.

Emergency phone call to Mr Rioux, who reassures us during an open house visit, we had provided him our house for future customers, that all will be fixed soon; raised floors, crooked patio door frames, obliterated ceiling, and so on. One week later, another windy rainstorm and double whammy, four liters of water our gushing down all over the place. Another furious phone call and here we go again, the run around.

We finally decide to call a building engineer who tells us that the house is built too low to the street, water is also coming into the garage and that there is a major water infiltration issue. We wait for three weeks for the report, no contacts from him during this time, which we send off to the Mr Rioux and Qualit Habitation (the warranty agency), and guess what? Has yet to dignify with an answer and guess what another rainstorm and bring out the wet suits and the buckets.

Finally, an employee shows up to fix or patch the problem. He tells us everything is now fixed, rainstorm, you guessed right again... The buckets. Now the water is seeping through the walls and I can only imagine what the hell is going on between them and will they fix it... Unknown. But they say they will try again tomorrow, without replies to other grievances and since he is busy selling to others, he does not seem to care, having his secretary contact us instead of talking to us personnaly.

Hopefully, they will fix everything to our entire satisfaction, but I would not hold my breath. However, I have contacted the agency and I shall keep you posted on the issue. All I can tell you, and others have probably said the same, beware of wolves wearing sheep's clothing, because once Mr Rioux has his money, you have a very uncomfortable back seat.
