Marks Floor Coverings carpet and vynil floor covering did a BAD job AND got violent and abusive when confronted about his quality of work

This individual operates out of a van and does the above. He is white about 40 years old and about 5' 8" short and stocky built. He is from michagan. He lives with his father in Port Bass and does floor coverings.

He usuaslly is stoned when he arrives for work. He is an X - felon and has hadd his drivers Lic suspended. He is self employed. He did a job in a rental property of mine and left marks on the wall from stpeling it down, he did a poor job seaming the tape/carpet. He was told to not use cushioning underlayment and wanted to be paid EXTRA for this and I later found out it should have cost LESS as there is less work and hassle this way.

He showed up late, did a BAD job AND got violent and abusive when confronted about his quality of work. I paid him the going rate for this area (what he asked for) and verified the rate with other carpet layers.

He has done a job for a local business (Tiger Tails) and they had to redo the job a month later.

He has bad references from another carpet company that he worked for (RIchards FLOOR COVERINGS.)
