Sells air conditioners they CAN'T and WON'T service Ripoff

I bought sears top of the line puron ac unit for my home in 2004. I also bought a 5 year extended warranty.
My unit has been down for 9 days. Sears says they don't have anyone that can fix puron units, "sorry". They will be glad to call us sometime in the future if they find someone.

We have talked to at least 25 different people within the sears organization including the home office and they either give us to someone we have already talked to or cut us off all together.

How can a company as large and well known as sears get away with taking my money and leaving my family and I free from the air comfort that we paid for?
