DSL APPRAISALS ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing decietful deviously misrepresented facts

After completing the inspection of property, appraiser, Don Willitt, requested additional information and collected cash payment on the pretense of completing appraisal. Within a few hours after the inspection he informed loan agency he does not have a commercial license therefore can't do appraisal. He claimed I misrepsented property as having 4 units instead of 5, therefore he was keeping $150.00 of the $650.00 he collected. It took nearly a month and several calls from the agent and myself to finally get the $500.00 refund.

I had no reason to misrepresent the property as 4 units. Why would I want to depreciate the property assests? When I spoke with Don Willitt to set an appt. For viewing the property he stated he had the property profile from the city (which clearly states 5 residential units) and wanted to know appx. Age of bldgs. As the city property profile did not contain that info.

Clearly he was aware from the city profile that there were 5 units on the property. If this was an oversight he should have declined to continue with inspection after realizing his error. He should not have taken the money under the false pretense he was going to complete the appraisal. Withholding $150.00 is thievery.

The loan agent informed me that DSL APPRAISAL was removed from their recommended appraiser list as his agency, National Consumers Mortgage, considers this conduct extremely unprofessional and deceitful.
