Buyer Beware-Shoddy Service-Incompetent Techs-Lousy Back-Up-Long Wait deceptive company

I have never experienced a more incompetent or frustrating company than AHS. I am currently waiting for over 20 minutes for the second time on their "customer care telephone line." I have been trying to get my Viking dishwasher fixed—this has been going on for 4.5 months now, and it now has mold growing in it.

The company they sent to do the repair, which is not even listed in the phone book, has ordered several parts, after initially waiting for over 2 months to get "qualified" by AHS and Viking. Then the parts were ordered, all of which supposively have been wrong. Then I was told by AHS that the problem was that they the wrong model number. I have requested another service company, but been told that this is not possible. Unfortunately I will have to take AHS to small claims court at this point.

Another tactic used by AHS in my several years of using their service is that, if the repair appears to be costly, they will find something in your house that doesn't "meet city code." They will not even tell you that this while they are at your house. They leave to "get a part, " and next thing you find AHS telling you that the claim is denied. Very sneaky and in my opinion, dishonest.

One last tactic used by this company that any potential victims should be made aware of, AHS will continue to fix an appliance until the parts are no longer available. They
will literally repair your 15 year old A/C every other month, using patchwork or "rigged" repairs, until there is no other option but to replace it (very, very rare). I would question the safety of some of the repairs that they did for me, ironic given their concern for "city codes" at times (see above).

All in all, my experience with this company has been horrible. They do not seem to have any integrity, their customer service is a joke, and the wait times are unblievable. Do not waste your time, your money or your patience on this company.
