Warranty Worthless Installed windows with lifetime warranty - Windows defective - want to charge to repair Ripoff

Had new vinyl windows installed. Looked great and worked OK. Now several years later, about half of the windows don't go up and stay up, also the pivot pins don't work, so you can't clean the windows.

Called HRG, and they sent out an inspector. He determined that the windows need service. Not covered by the warranty. Wanted about $1,000 to repair.

Lifetime should mean lifetime and should cover all parts and labor. This company does not stand behind their products and I would never use them again.

We paid many thousands of dollars about 10 years ago to have these windows installed. Had I known then what I know now, we would have selected one of the other bidders.
