Ripoff $3,750.00 deposit, no sofa, no refund, it's robbery

Put a "cash" deposit down on custom sofa more than half of price. Did in April. Sofa to arrive in July, no sofa.

Kept calling, kept getting different dates for it to arrive. No sofa. End of September ask for deposit back. No correspondence. Won't call back, or talk.

Hired an attorney. They did not show up for any court dates... Becasue it is civil, my hands are tied. Now I have lost my deposit and attorney fees. It's like I flushed the money down the toliet. I saved for four years for our first new sofa... Now nothing...
