Ripoff poor job of inspecting

Prior to purchasing our home, we hired Mr. Balogh to inspect the electrical, plumbing and mechanical items in the home. Three days after we took possession of the home, an outside water leak developed between the house and yard, cost me $550.00. Two months later one of the central air conditioning units had to be replaced. That cost $1100.00. Recently an electrician was called to install a 220 volt line for our stove and clothes dryer. He said the whole house needed to be re-wired. Estimated cost $4000.00. What good is having a general inspector if all he finds wrong is loose ceiling fans, and minor cosmetic problems. My advice, if you are buying a home, hire, a licensed plumber, electrician, and heat and air man to check out the items. Never hire an EMP person to do it all.
