Action Services - Richard McKeel
Ripoff, dishonest, Richard removed old central air conditioner and never installed or delivered for installation the new unit that we paid for!

I contacted Action Services in Ocotober of 2005 to replace a bad central air conditioning unit at a rental house. Richard McKeel, who is the owners son, removed the old unit and was to deliver and install a new one with a 5 year warranty.

He removed the old one and brought it with him when demanding payment. He assured us that the new unit was working properly and he wanted to be paid right then. We weren't able to contact the tenants to verify that the work had been performed. We paid him on the spot and he marked the invoice as paid.

Once we were finally able to contact the tenant, she confirmed our worst fears. He never delivered or installed the new unit. I contacted the company directly and was informed by his father that he was in jail, and that I should go downtown and ask him about it.

I explained that I had a paid invoice for work that was not performed with his company name on it. He hung up the phone.
