Ripoff waiting since may for house to be built, still not completed as of 9/19

I have been dealing with everyone at the Fredericksburg location trying to get work not only started but completed. Signed deal in May lot cleared sept. Work not started until 4/15.

As of today (9/19/05), framing not completed. Deck not finished. Boards laying in weather since 6/11. Katrinna blew off part of black paper on roof. Nothing done. No shingles, etc.

If you ask what is going on, excuses like: "I can't locate framers, don't know if they are in jail" or "I can't find roofers, unable to contact them" or my favorite line is: "they should be starting this week..."

I am now in the process of getting the 3rd (that's right) the third health permit for septic/well. What's wrong with this picture?

In a nut shell, the only things completed: part frame, part deck, right windows, wrong door & wrong shingles laying around. Plumbing and heat & air conditioning. Electrical work suboptimal. Picked up many empty beer bottles from the lot. Guess that explains the crappy partial roof job, not to mention the anchor bolts that don't have washers (these are the ones I can visibly see). Electrical wiring casing slashed in places. Hope it doesn't burn up once sheet rock is laid and electicity is fired up.

I have been through so many construction managers & branch managers. No one knows what is going on there or anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a home through these people.
