Ripoff scam stole all of my things that i paid for to put in storage the entire company vanished with no trace

On October 26 Joshua Movers came and packaged my things and moved them to their warehouse for storage. From October to March I paid the storage fee.in the beginning of March I requested that my things be sent to me as I had relocated to Florida. After waiting a few weeks for an estimate, they gave me a quote, I agreed and supposedly my things were being sent. After a few days I called them to confirm the arrival of my shipment and I was told that not only had my things not been shipped but they were unable to locate them in the warehouse. Since then I have spoken to several people who work there (the owner is never available) and they claim to be looking for my things.

I would call 2-3 times a week to find out what was going on and they would put me on hold and then hang up or they would hang up directly or tell me to call back and ask for people that are apparently never there. On May 18 I was told by an employee that everything in the warehouse had been emptied and everyone had collected their things. The person who told me this (Sam) did not speak English very well and wasn't sure in the end. I cannot find this company anymore all numbers have been disconnected and the address is no longer valid.

On April 29th I filed a complaint - Confirmation Complaint No. 1891836 - with the Better Business Bureau (The Mid-Hudson BBB 99 Lafayette Avenue, White Plains, NY 10603-3213 TEL: (212) 533-6200).

I also contacted the New York State Consumer Protection Board (Long Island Regional Office: 516-470-2954) and was informed that they had their shipping license revoked on April 8th.
