Dishonest, Rude, Poor Service, Unapologetic

I was very displeased with the customer service from Hank's Fine Furniture. Upon setting up my table I realized a piece was missing. I assumed we simply missed a box by mistake. I called to inquire and make arrangements to pick up the missing piece. However, I was then told (for the first time) that the missing part was out of stock and had been for some time. I was given no alternative, offer of apology, or monetary offering for my inconvenience. They simply informed me that they could attempt to order the part and that if it were received I would be responsible for the additional cost. Days later I was then told the part could not be ordered. All of this occured without anyone bringing to my attention that the table I agreed to purchase was being sold "as is" and not as it's intended full set. I then took it upon myself to reach out to corporate to see if something could be done as I now faced dismantling what was purchased of the table, boxing it back up, making arrangements on my own to have the table delivered back to the store, and all on my dime. Not to mention all of this ruining my holiday plans as the table was purchased days before the holidays. I was given multiple numbers to either disconnected lines, and another to a GMC dealership. None of which were the corporate headquarters of Hank's Fine Furniture.in fact, in my never ending efforts to reach corporate one of the sales associates enlightened me on the fact that "the training for the {sales associates} sucked." Something I had found out to be very accurate from my one and only experience with this furniture store. After finally reaching corporate, they informed us they would get in contact with the store in Fort Smith and then call us back. A call was never received. I took the table back to Hank's after being told "if it was that big of an inconvenience" I could drop the table off and be issued a full refund.in conclusion, the staff at the Fort Smith Hank's Fine Furniture were dishonest, rude, and unapologetic.
