I will start with the fact that this is day 8... My Pavilion laptop was shutting down and any error code would go away before I could read it... I called HP. 8 days ago. Spoke with Techs based in the USA. For 3 days. Day 1, first issue HP support assistant needed support. 2 hours to re install so I could try and find the real issue. This was done. I called again on Sunday 9/9 because lap top indicated a fan issue. I cleaned the fans and bought the best cooling pad available. Issue continued called HP. Again based in USA for 2 days I spoke with US based techs who were very helpful and 1 even helped me back up and re install my laptop... Because no matter what we did I could not re - create the error code making it almost impossible to fix but I was so impressed with the techs. 12 hours on Sunday, and at least temp. My laptop was working.

Segueing to yesterday 9/12... Laptop at it again. Only this time with an error code... I called HP... Oh my God. I reached India. I know this because that is what the tech said. This guy was rude and I knew more than he did. But he assured me that a supervisor would call me within the hour to arrange for shipment of my laptop to be fixed. That was at 11AM yesterday. At 5PM I had not received any calls at all. So I call HP again..india again. He tries to tell me some crap about calls out of India and than starts to run me through test that I already have run EVEN THOUGH I HAVE AN ERROR CODE NOW!!! I tried to argue the issue. So testing the hardrive takes awhile... Dude said at 6PM.."I will call you back in about 30-40min when test is closer to 50%" well here I am 12 1/2 hours later with no call...
Frankly I have a Samsung that i have to use for work... This old laptop has been used and abused. Exposed to the elements, dropped. You name it. I have never had an issue... My HP is barely 8 months old and is used very lightly at home... I will never purchase an hp anything again... The India call station are the rudest most condescending liars that I have EVER dealt with...
