Magic Jack-one major flaw - Magic Jack

Although overall, the magic jack has been inexpensive and mostly reliable (sometimes there are sound problems), it has one major flaw. When a caller with a private/restricted number (or a skype or google phone call) tries to call, the call won't go through, instead, they get a lengthy advertisement for Magic Jack, leading most of them to hang up thinking they had the wrong number. If they are patient enough to wait through the add, they get a notice saying that caller ID does not recognize the number and they need to unblock it or use another phone. The advertisement is very tacky and confuses callers and of course they can't get through. My son recently called on Skype during an emergency where he did not have another working phone and he could not get through. It ended in disaste
