Uninstalled windows vista, drivers and data

Malwarebytes was downloaded to my laptop to remove malware on my laptop that mircosoft sercuity essentials couldn't remove. After finding 2 virus and 1 infection I removed them. Then I uninstaaled malwarebytes and found that it removed windows vista, drivers and data from my laptop. I had to spend $175.00 to have it restored to my laptop. I would not suggest anyone use malwarebytes. Also consumer reports in june didn't even look at malwarebytes as a software to use. What does that say...
