Well I know this product is flagged alot but the more you know of the devil the less he can sneak up on you right?
Enter the search parameters 'Antivirus XP' into google and you get nothing but reports of fraudulent activity and fake virus reports.
I have simple advice.
1 do not for any reason visit www.antivirusxp.com because it must be an automatic download for the said programme.
I have a spyware programme which not only blocked a download from this site but terminated the web browser to avoid infection.
2 REMOVE: If you have got antivirus xp on your pc then get Malwarebytes Anti Malware ASAP. It worked perfectly on my pc and removed all traces of AVXP.
The free version got rid of it fine. So again BIG THANK YOU TO MALWAREBYTES.
3 REVIEW: Fortunately I always review products in several different places before buying them so I saw AVXP was a fake before I paid any money. I'm sorry for anyone who didn't and got ripped off.
I'm about to see if theres anything Trading Standards can do about it, oh and go to sleep now I have my pc back.
