HP Tech. Support - HP OfficeJet L7780 All in One

In my entire life I have never dealt with such incompetence. I bought an extended warranty on line along with a L7780 Office Jet! The printer was working fine but all I needed was some help configuring the wireless option. First they said that I didn't have an extended warranty and would not help me unless I could prove that I purchased it! They did put a tecn on the phone to answer some of my questions, he tried to help us but wound up corrupting several of the files, now we can't scan or fax from our computer. Now they tell us that they will not help us until I can show proof that I bought the warranty! I told them now that I can't scan the receipt I can't send them proof, they refused a fax. I am not surprised that this company is in trouble!
