Simply awful

I bought a Linksys wireless modem to accompany the XO notebook that I purchased for my parents for Holiday (the notebook is very good). They actually have a classic desktop Computer that doesn't have any Ethernet slots, and should consequently connect with the DSL device using a USB cable.

I had been ready to obtain the wireless modem to function, however the Computer could not connect with the Web. Once I acquired the Computeris web connection working again, the instant quit functioning.

After about one hour 5 of looking to get it to function, I named Linksys customer care. And after about 45 units on-hold, I talked having a tech-support individual who had me mess using the contacts and designs for another 45 unitsapproximately to no avail until my mobile phone battery died.

24 hours later, I named customer care again, waited for 30 minutes on-hold, after which fiddled using the contacts and designs with another tech-support individual for another half an hour.

After attempting a lot of various things, the assistance individual requested me to put on. He returned following a couple of minutes, and advised me the hub I bought CAn't be combined with a Hardware device.

Had they discussed this bit with me within the first-place - or better yet, involved it within the paperwork that included the modem - I'd have merely quit and delivered the modem towards the shop and might have ongoing purchasing Cisco's items without any hard feelings.

But simply because they lost hrs of my period through their pure mess, not just has Cisco Devices dropped a person, they've acquired a lifelong adversary.
